Price per gram by karat
Derived from the 18k rate; 24k = 24/18 × the 18k rate (arithmetic, not a separate market quote).
Gold coin or gold by the gram?
The Emami coin is 900/1000 fine and holds ≈ 7.32 g of pure gold (source: arzdigital.com). The gap includes the coin's market premium and excludes the fee and VAT you pay on made-up jewellery.
⚠ Fees and profit differ from jeweller to jeweller — compare these figures with the seller's invoice. The formula follows the method Iranian jewellers use (Digikala Mag, "Gold price calculation"). For information only.

FAQ
How is the price of made gold worked out?
Gold price = weight × today's rate; making fee = gold price × fee %; seller profit = (gold price + fee) × 7%; VAT = (fee + profit) × 10%. The four add up to the final price. VAT is charged on the fee and the profit only, not on the gold itself.
What is VAT charged on when buying gold?
Value-added tax (10%) is calculated only on the making fee plus the seller's profit — not on the value of the gold itself.
What is the difference between 18k and 24k gold?
24k is pure gold; 18k means 18 parts in 24 are gold. A gram of 18k costs 18/24 of a gram of pure gold.
